At HR Genie, we are seeking an experienced Senior Creditor Management Specialist to provide exceptional administrative support to our finance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment processing for our creditors.

About the Role:
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job Description:

This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Creditors Clerk, with a proven track record in managing creditor relationships and ensuring compliance with payment policies.

  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Verify calculations on payment requisitions, including settlement discounts, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare payment packs for debit orders in a timely manner, engaging professionally with suppliers and Accounts Controllers (AC's) to resolve any queries.
  • Follow up on creditor inquiries promptly, providing assistance to auditors during financial audits as required.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to our accounting records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure all supplier statements and invoices are accurately filed following the pay run.
Key Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and formulas.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and data entry.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to professionally engage with suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle creditor inquiries efficiently.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Creditors Clerk.
  • Experience with accounting software, with Pastel Evolution being an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of creditor management and payment processes.
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
