Job Description

The role of the Digital Communications Specialist is to develop and execute internal and external communication strategies that align with organisational objectives and culture. This includes drafting and distributing internal newsletters and announcements, managing internal communication platforms, and developing compelling external communication materials.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in communication or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in communications and a proven track record in the industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organised and detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

In terms of responsibilities, this role will involve:

  • Developing and executing internal communication plans to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and culture.
  • Drafting and distributing internal newsletters and announcements to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Managing internal communication platforms and promotions to facilitate employee engagement and interaction.
  • Drafting compelling external communication materials, including press releases, articles, newsletters, and blog posts to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work irregular hours, drive innovation, and collaborate with internal teams to develop content that resonates with target audiences and supports marketing and sales objectives.
