Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role

It Ridge Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Rig Technologies team in Gqeberha. As an ICS Security Engineer Lead, you will work directly with technical leaders across the digital products group to select, deploy, and validate cybersecurity controls that reduce exposure and ensure security and compliance requirements are met.

The successful candidate will analyze product groups' network designs and software implementations for customer specifications. This role entails collaborating internally and externally with business organizations to create solutions meeting customer needs while minimizing cybersecurity risks.

1. Collaborate Internally and Externally: Work with business organizations to develop solutions that meet customer needs while minimizing cybersecurity risks.
2. Guide Technical Leaders: Assist technical leaders and business functions on OT network architecture, compliance, and security-related matters.
3. Cybersecurity Execution Plans: Develop, document, and execute cybersecurity execution plans and schedules.
4. Triage and Address Security Alerts: Triage and address security alerts reported by OT security systems.
5. Develop OT Vulnerability Capability: Continually develop OT vulnerability and remediation capability to drive faster patching and mitigation cycles.
6. Evaluate and Improve Cybersecurity Posture: Evaluate and make recommendations to continuously improve the cybersecurity posture of digital products.
7. Analyze Network Designs and Software Implementation: Analyze network designs and software implementation.
8. Risk Identification and Threat Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and active threats to the OT systems and applications.
9. Incident Response Tasks: Perform incident response tasks including evidence preservation, forensics, and malware / exploit analysis.
10. Participate in Developing New Products: Participate in developing and implementing new products to ensure the design and functionality required to support security and compliance.
11. Cybersecurity Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain cybersecurity technical documentation and guidelines.
12. OT Security Workshops and Awareness Training: Conduct OT security workshops and awareness training sessions as required.
13. Other Work-Related Tasks: Perform other work-related tasks as assigned and comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
