Key Responsibilities:



  • Providing expert sales and support services to existing and new clients
  • Growing our database of potential customers and generating new leads
  • BUILDING STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH DEDICATED, EFFICIENT SALES AND ADMIN SERVICES
  • Successfully managing tenders and projects from conception to completion
  • Maintaining and updating our CRM system
  • Traveling to client sites for assessments and presentations
  • Achieving monthly sales targets
  • Meeting external call and meeting targets
  • Attending weekly sales meetings
  • Working collaboratively with peers to become part of a growing team
  • Reporting directly to and working closely with the sales manager
  • Staying up-to-date with product and industry innovations

Requirements:



  • 3-5 years of successful external sales experience in a similar industry, with a proven track record of providing engineering/technical sales support solutions
  • Sales or background in Engineering, Networking, Electrical Industrial Automation, Plant Automation Solutions (or similar), with either an unfinished electrical engineering qualification or industry experience (advantageous)
  • BCom/Electrical or similar (advantageous)
  • CISCO/CCNA N+ (Advantage)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP software (training provided)
  • CRM experience
  • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (presentations)
  • South African Citizen and valid ID
  • Own reliable car and valid Code B Drivers license
  • Resides in the Cape Town area (approx. 10km radius)
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in English
