Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our team at AJ Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our fleet management operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Allocation and Management
    • Assist in allocating the use of vehicles and drivers on a daily basis
    • Ensure that vehicle keys, petrol cards, and logbooks are issued and returned in a timely manner
  • Maintenance and Repair Coordination
    • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery/collection of vehicles for routine maintenance, services, and repairs
  • Logistics and Administration
    • Update and file all log sheets, petrol receipts, and vehicle maintenance check sheets to ensure data integrity
    • Ensure that drivers maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Fleet Manager/Operations Manager
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding fleet management
  • Other Duties
    • Provide on-call assistance as needed
    • Conduct bi-annual stock takes of all assets
    • Verify asset locations, status, and life cycle
    • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • 3-year Diploma/Degree in Fleet Management, Operations, or Logistics
  • Work Experience
    • 2 Years of relevant experience in fleet management
  • Personal Qualities
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team
    • A self-starter with a professional and positive disposition
    • Customer-oriented and tactful
    • Self-motivated with a high regard for work ethic, values, and integrity
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
