  • Develop and implement planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance plans to ensure the Centre's facilities are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
  • Ensure all life cycle and maintenance plans are in place, including 3, 5, and 10-year plans, to ensure the Centre's assets are properly managed.
  • Set and manage the asset register to track and maintain the Centre's assets.
  • Implement energy-saving programs using environmental and sustainability methodologies to reduce the Centre's carbon footprint.
  • Contribute to the development of service level agreements (SLAs) for approved service providers to ensure high-quality services are delivered.
  • Ensure the Centre complies with all building and statutory regulations to maintain a safe and healthy environment for tenants and visitors.
  • Identify trends in complaints and respond promptly to resolve issues.
  • Manage relationships with tenants, including tenant installations and budgets, to ensure a positive and productive working environment.
  • Conduct technical and service contract inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate staff activities and work schedules to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage all services and monitor the quality of services delivered to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Negotiate pricing structures and manage municipal utilities to ensure cost-effective services.
  • Prepare technical and financial reports to provide insights into the Centre's operations and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends to ensure the Centre remains competitive and attractive to tenants.
  • Manage the procurement of goods and services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts, as well as budget variance reports, to ensure accurate financial management.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Property, Building Science, or Facilities Management.
  • Relevant experience in retail property management, preferably in a shopping centre environment.
