The successful Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for achieving the following key performance indicators:

  • Drive sales and build customer loyalty through the execution of promotional activities and superior customer service.
  • Efficiently execute all operational activities of the store, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping, and administration.
  • Ensure the in-store presentation and promotional standards meet brand image requirements.
  • Motivate and direct staff to achieve their targets and performance goals, and effectively manage them in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%)
  • Desirable: Degree in Relevant Retail/Business Management
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in an assistant store management role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment or successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
