Professional Sourcing is seeking a Civil Engineer Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing technical services for projects, including code analysis, structural analysis, design, and calculations. The ideal candidate will possess a BSc degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a Structures focus and two to five years of applicable experience designing steel/cables and/or glass structures utilizing space frames, lattice structures, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create accurate technical solutions to clients' needs during the promotional phase of the sale
  • Check the structural performance of projects being bid in accordance with bid documents
  • As necessary, assist with method statements and structural implications of installation schemes as developed/required by the estimating group
  • Compose RFI's as needed to obtain any necessary information not already shown in the Contract Documents

The ideal candidate will also have an excellent ability to perform structural calculations and use basic computer tools and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, etc.
