Salesworx Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is partnering with a leading supplier of fresh produce in Cape Town to find a highly skilled Sales Representative - Fresh Produce to join their team. The successful candidate will be based in the Montague Gardens area and will be responsible for promoting and selling our premium range of dairy products and fresh juices to prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales (2-5 years+) and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They will also be able to build strong relationships with existing customers, grow our database, and uncover new leads and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by proactively promoting and selling our premium range of dairy products and fresh juices.
  • Expand reach by building relationships with existing customers and growing our database.
  • Deliver tailored solutions using our outstanding product portfolio to meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitors' offerings to stay ahead.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting, objection handling, and deal-closing strategies.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to track progress and refine strategies.
Requirements
  • MATRIC
  • FMCG experience is an advantage, particularly candidates who have previously sold dairy products and juices.
  • Candidates who have experience selling food to hotels, restaurants, and schools with established relationships with clients will be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role (2 - 5 years+).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, objection handling, and closing deals.
  • Product knowledge and the ability to convey information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and CRM software and basic computer skills.
  • Experience with social media.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
