Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Needs Identification: Identify training needs through organizational goal analysis, performance gap identification, and employee skill assessment.
  2. Data Consolidation: Consolidate data for various reasons and activities.
  3. Training Facilitation: Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques, such as face-to-face, group discussions, role-playing, and observation.
  4. Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance metrics, and evaluation methods.
  5. Feedback: Provide feedback to the business on return on investment.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Conduct annual updates and refine training materials and methods based on feedback, business needs, and industry best practices.
  7. LMS Utilization: Utilize LMS platforms for online learning and virtual classrooms to deliver training efficiently.
  8. Coordination: Coordinate with subject matter experts, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational objectives.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Consolidate all regulatory compliance in preparation for the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report.
  10. Onboarding Programs: Include responsibility for designing and implementing onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they integrate seamlessly into the organization.
  11. Employee Development Plans: Collaborate with department heads to create individualized employee development plans based on career aspirations and organizational goals.
  12. Diversity and Inclusion Training: Develop or source training programs focusing on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  13. Global Learning Trends: Stay updated on global learning trends to introduce innovative and effective training strategies.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  2. ODETD NQF 6 Qualification (Advantageous).
  3. Min 1 year in Training Program Design: Extensive experience in content development & LMS administration.
  4. Vendor Management.
  5. Stakeholder management.
Skills & Knowledge

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  1. Ability to design effective training programs.
  2. Compliance and Regulations with relevant industry regulations (specifically BBBEE).
  3. Learning Technologies, from trends and best practices in learning and development, including emerging technologies.
  4. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  5. Data Analysis & Data-driven decision making.
  6. Collaboration across departments.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft suite, with emphasis on Planner and Excel.
  8. Attention to detail.
