Junior Fleet Controller Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Fleet Controller to join our operations team at Qetello Holdings. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting and coordinating the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate Logistics: Work with suppliers and carriers to schedule and expedite the movement of goods.
  2. Monitor Shipments: Track the status of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  3. Communicate with Suppliers: Address any delays or issues in transportation with suppliers and carriers.
  4. Support Logistics Operations: Assist logistics controllers and coordinators in managing logistics operations.
  5. Prepare Shipping Documents: Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance procedures.
  6. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics activities.
  8. Coordinate with Other Departments: Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and warehouse, to facilitate the flow of goods.
  9. Resolve Logistical Issues: Assist in resolving logistical issues and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
Requirements:
  1. Certificate or Diploma: Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (advantageous).
  2. Previous Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar role is preferred.
  3. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  7. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  8. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  9. Knowledge of Logistics Operations: Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain processes is a plus.
