Key Responsibilities:

Application Management and Support

  • Deliver specialized assistance to sales personnel, ensuring the functionality and upkeep of the applications utilized.
  • Provide round-the-clock support and maintenance for all applications, guaranteeing system stability, availability, and performance in line with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee and maintain both Non-Production and Production environments.
  • Facilitate the deployment of applications across Non-Production and Production environments.
  • Ensure the reliability of software components and the successful rollout of new features.
  • Evaluate input deliverables from the Development team (Release Notes / Design Inputs).
  • Develop implementation strategies and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Establish application monitoring systems along with automated daily health assessments.
  • Investigate emerging tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Assume responsibility for software-related issues, collaborating with Development Teams to address complex challenges.
  • Promote the adoption of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, and Agile methodologies.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks proactively.
  • Perform daily health assessments on all applications.
  • Manage pre-implementation and post-implementation testing processes.
  • Supervise the Service Desk queue, addressing incidents, requests, and issues related to systems.
  • Execute production scripts to rectify system errors.
  • Provide business support as necessary (e.g., end-of-month operational tasks).
  • Document change requests and participate in Change Advisory Board meetings.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools and application performance management solutions.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in enterprise software development or 2+ years in a DevOps role, particularly with IIS and .NET technologies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows-based operating systems.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to cloud computing environments.
  • Experience in implementing and managing Application Performance Monitoring tools.
  • Background in Agile development settings.
  • Previous experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the K2 Platform is a plus.
  • A proven history of providing sales support is beneficial.
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining commission systems is an advantage.
