Job Summary:

The Auditor Level 3 position at SARS is responsible for ensuring compliance and protecting the economy and people of South Africa. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Personal Income Tax and a working knowledge of other main taxes contributors.

You will identify compliance and revenue enhancement/protection opportunities and pilot identified cases to evaluate whether regional implementation may be recommended. Your responsibilities will also include conducting verifications and limited scope audits, identifying and resolving queries and problems, and planning and conducting multiple tax audits/verifications on a risk profile basis.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or equivalent qualification.
  • 5-7 years' experience in Crypto/Forex/Advanced Taxation, of which 2-3 years at functional Audit/Consulting level.
