The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and experience in managing tax compliance processes. They will be responsible for ensuring that all international tax obligations are met, and that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with international tax compliance processes, including preparation and submission of income tax returns
  • Check tax assessments and follow up on any tax-related issues
  • Liaise with foreign tax authorities and other stakeholders regarding tax matters
  • Draft letters and objections to foreign tax authorities, as well as query responses
  • Assist with cross-border transactions, including VAT and PAYE processes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in international tax law and regulations

Requirements

  • CA(SA)/Bcom(Acc) or similar qualification with a post-degree qualification in tax
  • Accreditation with a relevant professional body, such as SAICA or SAIT
  • Practical working experience in a tax compliance department
  • Strong knowledge of international tax law and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
