About the Position:

This is a unique opportunity to advance your career as a researcher in immunology and neuroscience. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will design and execute scientific experiments, analyze and interpret data, and present findings in lab meetings, seminars, and national/international meetings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Research: Design and execute scientific experiments to understand regulatory mechanisms controlling neuroimmune interactions at barrier surfaces.
  2. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret research results and the scientific literature in connection with writing or editing high-quality grant fellowship applications, manuscripts, etc.
  3. Communication and Collaboration: Regularly present data in lab meetings, work-in-progress, seminars, and national/international meetings.
  4. Project Management: Develop detailed project timelines according to team and project-specified deadlines.
  5. Supervision: Supervise technicians, graduate students, and junior postdoctoral fellows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field).
  • Advanced knowledge of neuroscience and immunology, including experience in immunological techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
