Hire Resolve is urgently looking for an experienced Shaft Timberman to join their operations in the North West. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground hard rock mining and a proven track record of success in a vertical shaft environment.
The successful candidate will possess a Grade 12 Blasting Certificate and an Onsetter Certificate, as well as 3 years of experience as an appointed Shaft Timberman. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies, standards, and procedures.
In this role, you will plan, allocate resources, and manage repairs and breakdowns in accordance with operational and maintenance schedules. You will also be responsible for communicating operational updates to stakeholders to minimize delays in ore extraction and development progress.
Able to supervise teams and maintain open communication within the team, you will ensure effective pipe and equipment installations.
