Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to manage medical aid payments, resolve queries, and optimize cash flow. As a Medical Aid Recon Clerk, you will be responsible for allocating medical aid payments, collecting unpaid medical aid payments, and resolving account/claim queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Medical Aid Payment Management: Manage the allocation and reconciliation of medical aid payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Unpaid Medical Aid Collections: Collect outstanding medical aid payments from clients to minimize debt and optimize cash flow.
- Account Query Resolution: Resolve any queries or discrepancies related to medical aid accounts or claims.
Requirements
A degree or diploma in a Financial qualification is required. At least 2-3 years of experience in debtors functions, including payment allocation, invoicing, account reconciliation, and debt collecting is also necessary.
