Job Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.
  • This role involves managing the full debtors, creditors, and cashbook function, including opening and maintaining accounts, processing COD and account payments.
  • The ideal candidate will prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, reconcile debtors and creditors accounts, and attend to any month-end queries.
  • Additionally, they will oversee creditors' reconciliations and timely payments, handle general accounting duties, including journals and general ledger reconciliations.
  • They will also perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A matric certificate is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 - 5 years of experience in debtors, creditors, and cashbook.
  • A degree or diploma in Accounting is advantageous.
  • They must have practical knowledge in managing debtor invoicing, stock invoicing, payment allocations, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to handle creditor reconciliations, invoice posting, and queries efficiently.
  • Experience with credit applications, VAT, and discount/rebate calculations is a plus.
