We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Health Professions Council of South Africa's requirements for Pharmacy Assistants and will be able to demonstrate high standards of customer service and care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing Pharmaceutical Care Services: You will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services within the scope of your practice, including assisting with prescriptions and answering customer queries.
  2. Day-to-Day Dispensary Administration: You will be responsible for efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine, as well as maintaining accurate records and files.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. A matric certificate with mathematics is essential.
  2. You must meet the Health Professions Council of South Africa's requirements for Pharmacy Assistants.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Product Knowledge: You will have a strong understanding of healthcare products, particularly those related to the health isle and over-the-counter medications.
  2. SAPC and Relevant Legal Knowledge: You will have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
