About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves developing, preparing and coordinating the submission of tenders, proposals and quotations for water treatment projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Interpret and implement client requirements and specifications.
  • Develop accurate financial and commercial models to determine competitive pricing structures for all projects.
  • Prepare tenders that enable efficient plant operation, maintenance and achievement of financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with services execution divisions to determine life cycle costs for on-site services combined with EPC of new water treatment plants.
  • Assist in establishing and improving systems and procedures for effective service delivery.
  • Process design development through careful selection of treatment technologies providing cost-effective solutions while ensuring technical compliance.
  • Commissioning of new water treatment plants including operating and maintenance contracts.
  • Site establishment, commencement and initial monitoring of new on-site service projects.
  • Preparation of technical specifications for requests for quotations.
  • Technical assistance and evaluation of vendor proposals.
  • Engineering design deliverables for tenders and studies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: BSc/BTech Engineering qualification.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
  • Advanced Treatment Processes: Experience in ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis processes, filtration and biological treatment.
  • Languages: Must be able to understand and speak Afrikaans.
  • Commercial Terms: Must have thorough knowledge of commercial terms.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
