We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team at EBOR Automotive Systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and repair of customer-owned tooling.
  2. Troubleshooting tooling issues and identifying solutions.
  3. Creating simple fixtures and assisting with other duties as requested.
  4. Assisting with the review of new products and moulds for design for manufacturability.
  5. Developing and implementing corrective modifications to injection moulds.
  6. Maintaining accurate records of repairs, modifications, and inventory.
  7. Collaborating with the quality department and stakeholders to achieve continuous improvements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant qualification or equivalent.
  2. 3 – 5 years relevant experience in Plastic Injection Moulding in a tool room environment.
  3. Proficient in all tool room machinery and equipment including lathes, mills, EDMs, grinders, etc.
  4. Experience with High gloss parts/tools.
