**Precision Machinist **required for a large FMCG company based in **East London, Eastern Cape**

The Purpose of the position is to assist in the Engineering Department lower risk of creating mistakes and producing subpar outputs, precision machining can dramatically reduce the cost of manufacturing.

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience, specific to Milling Machine - Lagun FU4-L, Lathe - Colchester Mastiff 1400, Lathe - CY Series cy-l 1640G
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines
