Job Title: Project Coordinator for Public Sector Initiatives

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at HWSETA in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects within the public sector, utilizing their expertise in project management and administration.

Estimated Salary: R 550,000 - R 650,000 per annum

Job Description

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and validating the implementation of SDP Projects. This will involve working closely with provincial teams to build capacity and providing support as needed. Additionally, the coordinator will reconcile and manage project commitments, prepare and validate project payments, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with experience working with electronic systems and managing project MOAs (Contracts). They will also possess excellent communication and administrative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, or Auditing
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management, SETA, or project coordination
