We are seeking a qualified and experienced Music Teacher to join our team. As a Part-Time Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students in the Foundation Phase.

Our Academic Programme:

Our academic programme is designed to challenge and encourage innovative and imaginative thinking, providing our learners with opportunities to succeed at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement music lessons that cater to the needs of students in the Foundation Phase.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  3. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Have a suitable tertiary music qualification, professional teaching qualification, and SACE registration.
  5. Have music teaching experience in the foundational phases of junior school class music.
  6. An ability in training and directing ensembles e.g. marimba bands, orchestras, and choirs.
  7. A competent pianistic ability will be advantageous.
  8. Experience in running concerts and festivals and preparing the girls accordingly.
  9. Assist with functions and activities outside of school hours when necessary.
  10. Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment.
  11. Uphold the ethos and traditions of the school.
  12. Apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register.
