Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated Linux Automation Engineer with over 2 years of experience to join our team. This position involves designing, implementing, and managing Linux-based systems and infrastructure to ensure server stability, security, and performance. The role requires handling automation and configuration tools to support application deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Deploy Linux Systems: Implement and manage Linux systems to guarantee stability and peak performance.
- Ensure System Reliability and High Availability: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using languages like Bash and PowerShell to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and boost system performance.
- Automate Tasks: Create and oversee automation scripts to simplify processes and enhance efficiency.
- Provide Hardware Support for Servers: Offer technical support for servers and related hardware.
- Support VMware Systems: Provide support for VMware systems and related infrastructure.
- Optimize System Performance: Optimize system performance in batch processing environments.
- Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to systems and processes.
- Tertiary Qualification or Equivalent Experience: Tertiary qualification or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Linux Certification: Linux certification is essential.
- Experience: 6 or more years of Linux experience in a server environment, a year or more of VMware experience, a year or more of experience building highly automated environments, a year or more of experience with Bash and PowerShell, and preferably a year or more of experience with HP and Dell hardware.
- Windows Certification: Windows certification will be an advantage.
