External Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to join our team at Midvaal Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities for our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and industries that could benefit from our software solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and sales leads.
- Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking events, and other outreach methods.
- Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Present and demonstrate our software solutions to potential clients.
- Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Sales Process Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a liaison between the client and our technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Gather feedback from clients and provide insights to our product development team.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback for management.
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in software sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly in software or technology solutions, is preferred.
