We are seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to join our team at Midvaal Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities for our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and industries that could benefit from our software solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and sales leads.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking events, and other outreach methods.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Present and demonstrate our software solutions to potential clients.
  • Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Sales Process Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and our technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Gather feedback from clients and provide insights to our product development team.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback for management.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in software sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in B2B sales, particularly in software or technology solutions, is preferred.
