Job Overview

The role involves delivering and overseeing functional support, configuration, and enhancements on the global SAP HCM platform, with a focus on Personnel Administration (PA) and/or Organisational Management (OM). This position spans across multiple countries, ensuring that all system configurations and developments align with the Standard Bank Global Template. The consultant will engage with stakeholders to offer best practice, tailored, and customer-focused solutions while leading the execution of development initiatives within the Personnel Administration domain to meet critical business needs and maintain system stability.

Required Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
Diploma in Information Systems or Technology.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience with SAP HCM systems, both within Africa and internationally, including 3 to 4 years of specialized experience in various HR processes.

• Extensive expertise in configuring SAP HCM, particularly within the Personnel Administration and/or Organisational Management (OM) modules. Familiarity with other SAP HCM modules is a plus.

• Strong understanding of the integration between SAP HCM and third-party systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and initiatives across different teams.

• Proven track record as a subject matter expert for the Standard Bank global SAP HCM solutions, ensuring appropriate guidance is provided to stakeholders in the area of specialization.

• Capability to lead the collection of business requirements and analyze processes to identify issues that can be addressed through system enhancements or modifications.

• Prior experience in managing and overseeing the delivery of complex SAP HCM system development requirements, including the creation of detailed project plans to ensure compliance with risk, quality, customer/user needs, timelines, and budget.

• Proven ability to analyze, consult, and resolve intricate development issues, making recommendations to stakeholders regarding the feasibility and technical integration of these requirements.

• Facilitate meetings and workshops with team members and various stakeholders to manage integration, monitor progress, address key issues, and gather input from stakeholders.
