Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HCM Functional Consultant to join our team at Standard Bank Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing functional support, configuration, and development on our global SAP HCM system, specializing in Personnel Administration (PA) and/or Organisational Management (OM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage functional support, configuration, and development on the global SAP HCM system.
  • Consult with stakeholders to provide best practice, fit-for-purpose, customer-centric solutions.
  • Lead the delivery of development initiatives within the area of Personnel Administration to ensure all key business requirements are met within the required standards and the system remains stable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of HR solutions.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of SAP HCM modules, including PA and OM.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement in HR processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working on SAP HC systems across Africa and internationally.
  • 3-4 years of specialist experience working with a variety of HR processes.
  • Extensive experience in configuring SAP HC specifically for the Personnel Administration and/or Organisational Management (OM) module.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate tasks and initiatives across teams.
  • Proven ability to act as a subject matter expert for the Standard Bank global SAP HCM solutions across all relevant countries.
  • Ability to lead the gathering of business requirements and analysis of processes to identify problems that can be solved through system development or changes.
  • Prior experience in managing and overseeing the delivery and implementation of complex Standard Bank SAP HCM system development requirements.
