Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Headhunters.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing sales calls with customers, building market share across all categories, and working on promotional activities as per guidelines required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan fortnightly call schedules with customers and learn and apply customer classifications.
  • Build on and research product and industry knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Work on promotional activity as per guidelines required and build client relationships to ensure service effectiveness.
  • Submit weekly sales reports by the required deadline and proactively look for new business and market opportunities.
  • Manage sales administration and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or an equivalent BSc qualification such as Agriculture, Microbiology, or a related field is essential.
  • Drivers licence and travel is required.
  • Newly qualified graduates with up to two years of work experience.
  • The candidate must be able to understand and communicate in Afrikaans.
  • Previous external sales experience is required.
  • The candidate must have their own vehicle, as the role involves visiting clients daily.
