Healthcare Customer Advisor Job Description

Our client, a leading BPO in Cape Town, is seeking a skilled Healthcare Customer Advisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via telephone, digital, or written communication
  • Assist customers with complex benefit questions, resolve issues, and educate healthcare members
  • Utilize strong attention to detail and complex problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions
  • Employ effective communication, empathy, and motivational skills to ensure a positive customer experience
Requirements:
  • National Senior Certificate (Matric Certificate) or equivalent
  • Clear credit record and criminal record
  • 1 year unbroken call centre experience from the UK or USA market
  • 1 year healthcare industry experience (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology and concepts used in US health insurance
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills (CEF Level B2)
