Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Business Capital Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, with expertise in antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship programs, ensuring their successful execution and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to design and deliver patient-centered care programs, focusing on medication safety and efficacy.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on best practices in antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations of antimicrobial use and resistance, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for change.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree and post-graduate Master's Degree in Clinical Pharmacy acknowledged by the South African Pharmacy Council.
  • Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as a pharmacist.
  • Relevant clinical knowledge and experience in a hospital environment.
  • Understanding of pharmacy and related healthcare industry, legislation, regulation, and challenges.
  • Computer proficiency (MS office).
