We are currently seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to spearhead business growth in the northern region of South Africa.

Responsibilities :

  • The Sales Representative will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with clients across North-West, Gauteng, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.
  • Exceeding sales targets and contributing to business expansion will be a top priority.
  • The ideal candidate will identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
  • They will oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, including lead qualification, meetings, and proposal creation.
  • Maintenance and renewal of contracts with existing clients will be crucial, ensuring superior customer service.
  • The representative will maintain accurate sales data and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
  • Collaboration with the Area Manager on planning for installations, training, and promotional activities will be essential.
  • Cold calling and generating leads, leveraging a strong South African Fruit Industry network, will be a key responsibility.
  • Attendance at industry events and conferences will be required.
  • Close collaboration with the central sales assistant to manage quotations will be necessary.
  • Monitoring outstanding debtors within client accounts will also be part of the responsibilities.
  • Reporting to the Area Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Sales & Marketing Manager will be the final responsibility.
