Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our dynamic team at Merand Corbett & Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing offer letters, remuneration packages, employment contracts, and forms for provident funds and medical aid.
  • Communication: Communicate with provident fund service providers and collaborate with the HR consultant to draft and update employee profiles.
  • Policies and Procedures: Review and assist in the formulation of company policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment and Training: Oversee the recruitment process and coordinate staff training initiatives.
  • Performance Evaluations: Manage the scheduling, administration, and record-keeping for performance evaluations, including KPI documentation.
  • Exit Process: Supervise the exit process and manage the personnel leave tracking system.
  • Payroll Administration: Administer and oversee the payroll system.
  • Meetings and Reporting: Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings and compile and report HR-related data for BBBEE compliance.

Requirements:

  • Citizenship: South African citizen.
  • Drivers License: Code B drivers license and own transport.
  • Residency: Resident of the Helderberg or Stellenbosch areas.
  • Qualifications: Degree/diploma in human resource management advantageous.

Experience: 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

Skills: Proficient in MS Office, strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills, ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines, knowledge of employment legislation, including the Labour Relations Act and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
