Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will assist the department with tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. As a Tax Accountant at Top Vitae, you will play a critical role in assisting with tax returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the prompt filing of tax returns and ensure timely compliance with tax laws.
  • Assist in audit documentation and support, maintaining withholding tax rate tables, transfer pricing documentation, and the company's tax records.
  • Collaborate with finance and tax systems, conduct research on different taxability issues for various transaction types and locations, and aid with field activities related to tax law and compliance.
  • Support transfer pricing policies, aid in transfer pricing calculations, assist in computing the income tax provision, and handle other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Honours in Accounting with Articles or equivalent experience.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and expertise in financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in computer software, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial statements, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with English as the primary language.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, meeting deadlines, and working independently or as part of a team.
