Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fleet reliability and maintenance, including:
  • Ensuring quality control of outsourced work and timely payment
  • Coordinating regular fleet inspections and minor repairs
  • Monitoring tyre condition and pressure, reporting issues daily to General Manager
  • Timely servicing of vehicles, with accurate record-keeping of breakdown/repair costs
  • Maintaining relationships with service providers for after-hours assistance
  • Keeping accurate records of all breakdown/repair costs

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Matric (Grade 12) minimum
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Fleet Management
  • Basic mechanical understanding and administrative skills
  • Valid unendorsed driver's license (Code 10)
  • Ability to work unsociable hours and under pressure
  • Effective communication and time management skills

Salary:
R 650,000 per annum, depending on experience.
