About the Role:

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Durban, South Africa. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the long-term supply reliability of raw materials and finished goods to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a supply chain strategy to enable business growth objectives in South Africa.
  • Collaborate with commercial, manufacturing, and finance teams to develop and manage annual operating plans.
  • Prepare and control annual budgets, including forecasting and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Implement process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and effectiveness of supply chain operations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Science or Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Certification in Supply Chain from a reputable university.
  • At least 7 years of experience in planning, budgeting, customer service, logistics, or supply chain roles.
  • Knowledge of contracts, letters of credit, and other trading methods.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and MS Office.
  • First experience managing a team.
