Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Designer to join our team at Webrepublic (Pty) Ltd. As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging advertising materials for our clients' display, social media, and video campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce assets for digital campaigns, including video ads, HTML5 ads, and out-of-home materials.
  • Support and coordinate creative projects, working closely with the creative team, media, and client consultants.
  • Develop pitch and client presentations to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Prioritize quality and efficiency, applying the 80/20 principle to balance high-quality output with meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure consistency with client brand guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Design qualification with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript or a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with web animation tools like Google Web Designer, Tumult Hype, or Adobe Animate.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Confidence in discussing designs and ideas with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to execute ideas quickly, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
