Job Description

Resourcery SA is a professional service provider based in Cape Town offering a wide range of services to clients globally, including finance, marketing, analytics, operations, legal, and more.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging graphic content, including illustrations, infographics, presentations, animations, and multimedia design.

  • Manage graphic design projects from conception to delivery across various output formats.
  • Apply a 80-20 principle to ensure quality of output while meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout various design projects.
  • Review the output of other designers to ensure consistently high quality.
  • Work with visual design, including typography, grids, layouts, colors, iconography, and more.
  • Work with interaction design, including sketching, illustrations, numbers, diagrams, and more.
  • Having experience with multimedia design, including videography, sound design, editing, post-production, animations, and more, is a plus.
  • Having an understanding of responsive grids and the implementation of your designs, such as through HTML and CSS, is a plus.
  • Having an interest in and understanding of the business side, including understanding what numbers mean and if they make sense, is a plus.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate, you must have the following:

  • A graphic design qualification.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience as a graphic designer.
  • Expertise in the most common state-of-the-art graphic design tools, including Figma and Adobe Suite.
  • Ability to execute ideas quickly and have no issues planning your time around deadlines.
  • Work autonomously, manage yourself, and be proactive and self-motivated.
  • Excellent organization skills and be comfortable working collaboratively.
  • Proficient in English fluently and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a holistic perspective of design and the purpose it serves in our business.
  • Having prior experience in or a strong affinity for hospitality and food and beverage is a plus.
