Administrative Officer

Pronel Personnel is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to assist with financial operations in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, proficiency in using Pastel, and a proven track record in administrative roles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Matching supplier invoices to official orders and PODs
- Capturing invoices on the accounting system
- Reconciling supplier statements promptly
- Reconciling creditors control accounts and aged analysis
- Reconciling outstanding GRNs and GRVs
- Filing and storing invoices and creditors documents
- Handling all queries related to creditors
- Completing and filing supplier credit applications
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A matriculation or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in Sage Pastel Accounting and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Proven work experience in administrative roles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
