Pronel Personnel is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to assist with financial operations in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, proficiency in using Pastel, and a proven track record in administrative roles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Matching supplier invoices to official orders and PODs
  • Capturing invoices on the accounting system
  • Reconciling supplier statements promptly
  • Reconciling creditors control accounts and aged analysis
  • Reconciling outstanding GRNs and GRVs
  • Filing and storing invoices and creditors documents
  • Handling all queries related to creditors
  • Completing and filing supplier credit applications
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A matriculation or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in Sage Pastel Accounting and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Proven work experience in administrative roles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
