Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing social work and psychosocial services to residents, both children and older persons, placed at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with legal and departmental requirements, including Norms and Standards.
- Provide therapeutic intervention with children and older persons as needed.
- Develop and implement care plans and IDPs for all children and older persons in consultation with relevant role players.
- Monitor court orders and ensure all children are legally placed.
- Participate in quality assurance multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Complete social histories and psychosocial assessments for each resident.
- Provide clinical interventions to address catastrophic events.
- Coordinate resident discharge planning and make referrals for home care services.
- University Degree/Diploma in Social Work or similar.
- Registration with SACSSP.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in social work.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a pressured environment.
- Excellent administration and computer skills.
