Job Description

At Skills Connector, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a proven track record of driving financial and operational value chain improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement streamlined reporting processes to drive business improvement.
  • Support the Management Team in prioritizing and addressing operational value chain inefficiencies.
  • Monitor customer requirements and implement cost-effective improvements to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Drive innovation to improve operations and remove root causes of inefficiencies.
  • Optimize and extend the useful life of fixed assets.
  • Drive long-term, sustainable improvements in energy efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

  • B Com Financial Qualification or Commercial/Business Management degree.
  • Completed Articles with financial accounting skills and understanding of IFRS.
  • Minimum 5 years' financial experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Risk Analysis & Management Reporting.
  • Financial and Operational Management.
  • Stock Management and Balancing.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detailed understanding of management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent personal organization and business administration skills.
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively under timescales and pressure.
  • Willingness to learn, improve, and adapt.
  • Managing of subordinates with motivational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Excel advanced.
  • Maintain control systems and adherence to Corporate Governance.
  • Exposure to annual budget processes and managing thereof.
