Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in South Africa. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our products to healthcare professionals and obtaining feedback on our products and competitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals to inform them about our products and build relationships with these stakeholders.
  • Assist at scientific congresses and provide information about our products to healthcare professionals.
  • Classify doctors and other stakeholders according to our segmentation and targeting criteria.
  • Propose new doctors to add to our files, changes, or removals.
  • Track prescription habits of doctors, check their consideration of our products, and ensure their influence on other doctors.
  • Provide accurate and updated information about our products to healthcare professionals.
  • Obtain information from the market about doctors' concerns on our products and competitors.
  • Propose activities in their territory to promote our products and ensure compliance with ethics standards.
  • Manage targets assigned and ensure return on investment.
  • Inform management about daily activity and next week's planning and present expense reports on time.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Background in science, biology, medical, or pharmacy.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Own car essential.
  • Willing to travel 25% of the time.
  • Proficient in English language.
