Job Title: Senior Employee Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on employee benefits and retirement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide professional and excellent quality of service to employers and members of retirement funds, in accordance with service level agreements and annual strategic planning.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess excellent technical knowledge on both risk and retirement, and ensure an effective employee benefits environment and adherence to all FAIS requirements.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Independently manage and consult on client portfolios, establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide appropriate advice, excellent client service, and project management of critical events to ensure the smooth running of the Fund.
  • Service Provider Management: Effectively manage service providers and adhere to the company's standard operating procedures.
  • Communication and Presentation: Prepare and conduct member presentations, individual discussions with new members explaining benefits, and conduct risk and retirement re-brokes.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare and distribute agenda packs for meetings, manage monthly reconciliations, and provide ongoing feedback to clients.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with all internal colleagues and external service providers to ensure operational efficiency and discuss product characteristics and appropriate training, service, and support.
  • Compliance and Knowledge: Maintain legal employee benefits industry and legislation knowledge, keeping abreast of all changes, and attend required internal and external forums and training courses.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Matric and NQF Level 6 and/or CFP qualifications.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in the Employee Benefits industry.
  • Transport and License: Own transport and driver's license required.
