Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at DO MORE Placements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our finance function, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure import and export compliance, manage the Asset Register, and maintain strong Forex experience.
  • Cash Flow and Banking Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, banking relationships, and ensure timely and accurate completion of tax and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and cost control measures.
  • Operational Efficiency: Review discrepancies around costing, conduct operational variance analysis, and assist operations in identifying gaps and driving performance.
  • IT Function Oversight: Oversee the IT function of the Company.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: CA(SA) / ACMA, CGMA advantageous, Bachelors Degree in Finance, and completed articles.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Manufacturing / Mining, with proven experience as a Financial Manager in manufacturing.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations, proficiency in Pastel, excellent organizational and time management abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a finance team.
