Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Compliance Specialist to join our team at BGA Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that structures are built in compliance with the estate's design code documents and approved building plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, local ordinances, and contract specifications
  • Review plans to ensure they meet building codes and regulations
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure overall compliance and quality
  • Utilize survey instruments and test equipment to perform inspections
  • Provide feedback on deviations from plans and ensure structural quality and safety
  • Conduct consent of sale inspections as required
  • Develop and implement OSH policies and safe work procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce OSH compliance
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a related field
  • Architectural Technologist or Draughting Qualification
  • Certificate and/or experience in health and safety
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
