IT Administrator Job Description

RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Network and System Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot network and system issues to prevent downtime and ensure data security.
  • Data Security: Implement measures to ensure the security and integrity of data, including backups and access controls.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to employees and address their IT-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • IT Project Planning: Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and initiatives to improve the company's IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience: Five (5) years proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of networking, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and VPN. Proficient in managing and configuring servers and user endpoints. Experience with cloud services, virtualization technologies, and backup solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
