Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and implement strategic plans and relationships to optimize freight operations and enhance efficiency.
- Define Strategy: Define strategy across all various procurement and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
- Negotiate Freight Rates: Negotiate bulk freight rates and contracts with service providers to generate innovative solutions and enhance IOEC's relevance.
- Coordinate Transportation: Coordinate the transportation of goods via various modes, including sea freight, air freight, and road transportation.
- Monitor Shipment Schedules: Monitor shipment schedules and proactively track the movement of goods to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and warehouse, to coordinate shipment activities effectively.
- Monitor and Analyze Costs: Monitor and analyze transportation costs and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction through negotiation, route optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process, taking proactive measures to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in freight management, preferably in an export-oriented business or shipping line.
