Sales Business Development Engineer – Process Equipment Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities in the mining and metallurgy sectors.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and metallurgy sectors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Provide expert advice on process equipment solutions
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in engineering, preferably in process engineering or metallurgy
- Minimum 5 years of sales/management experience in a similar position
- Proven track record in leadership positions with sales of process equipment to the minerals industry
- Experience in large capital equipment tenders, including negotiation and risk management
- Ability to deliver and manage written technical proposals and reports
- Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills
