Job Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacy Manager at Clicks Group Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the pharmacy team to deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, safe dispensing, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary and the clinic, maintaining high standards of safety, security, and compliance.
  • To lead and direct the pharmacy team to deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, and provide advice in accordance with Clicks' way of working, good pharmacy practice, and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the SAPC.
  • To manage and control all operational activities of the dispensary, including stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping, and administration, in line with merchandising, SAPC regulations, and company standards.
  • To ensure the operational viability of the dispensary through sound financial management, focus on core dispensary and clinic targets, management of expenses, and proactively taking appropriate action as required.
  • To select, lead, manage, and develop competent and motivated employees, including learners and interns, to build capacity and capability to meet current and future business needs.
  • To schedule staff adequately, ensuring each department is fully and appropriately staffed, including weekly time and attendance and employee records submitted to HR.
  • To drive customer service initiatives in the dispensary, resulting in a great customer experience, driving customer loyalty, and achieving club card participation targets.
  • To integrate and partner with the clinic and healthcare aisle, offering a full range of healthcare services to customers.
  • To support the Group's vision to be the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving the company values.
  • To foster a high-performing business culture that delivers employee affiliation, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.

Requirements

  • Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC registration.
  • Essential: Minimum 2 years' experience post-community service year.
  • Essential: Minimum 1 year People Management experience.
  • Essential: Registration with SAPC as the Responsible Pharmacist.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of SAPSACS and relevant legal knowledge.
  • Desirable: Ethical working practice and compliance.
  • Desirable: Sound understanding and application of financial management principles.
  • Desirable: Results and target driven.
  • Desirable: Planning and organizing skills.
  • Desirable: Problem-solving skills.
