Job Summary

Performability Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure compliance to Quality Assurance requirements in a globally renowned cosmetic company. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Pharmacy qualification and registration with the South Africa Pharmacy Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 requirements across all facets of the company.
  • Conduct investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective action to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Facilitate effective and efficient non-conformance meetings to ensure actions are completed.
  • Ensure annual QMS Reviews are conducted accordingly as per ISO requirements.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits and follow up meetings to resolve findings with departmental managers or suppliers.
  • Oversee the customer complaints process and satisfaction survey process.
  • Responsible for the Change Control process and ensure all products are sufficiently controlled.
  • Chair the Change Control meetings and ensure compliance with Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical cGMP.
  • Provide monthly or quarterly reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Pharmacist in a manufacturing site.
  • Production and quality assurance experience is critical.
  • Proven knowledge of PICS, SAHPRA, ISO 9001 and 22716 requirements.
  • Attention to detail & strong communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy qualification.
  • Registration with the South Africa Pharmacy Council.
